Read the first chapter of Clade for free
My new novel, Clade, hits Australian bookstores on 28 January, but in the meantime Penguin have made the first chapter available on their website.
If you like what you read you can preorder the print version through Booktopia, Bookworld, Gleebooks, Readings, Better Read Than Dead, Pages and Pages, Abbey’s or your favourite online or bricks and mortar bookseller, or purchase the ebook from the Australian iBookstore, the Kobo store, Amazon.com and Amazon.com.au.
Here we go again. Nothing for the European reader yet, bah! Do you wonder people are sometimes drawn to piracy?
Unfortunately electronic rights are usually bundled with the print rights, so until we’ve got UK and US deals locked down there won’t be ebooks outside Australia. If I could make that happen faster I would!
I don’t know if it helps but I’m trying to find an interim solution which will allow people outside Australia to buy copies of the print book without it costing an absurd amount (because postage is so outrageously expensive in Australia the cost of shipping books from Australia to Europe or America or anywhere like that is prohibitive). I’m not 100% certain I’ll be able to find a solution but as soon as I do I’ll pop something on the website. But thank you, and sorry.
