Mmmmm, coverlicious . . .

Somewhere in all the chaos of the past few weeks, I completely forgot to mention that I’d finally finished The Penguin Book of the Ocean.

I was going to post some long mournful piece about how sad finishing books makes me, but instead I think I’ll just let you feast your eyes on the cover . . .

Can almost hear and smell it. May it be seen on beaches all around the land this summer.

Sweeeeet. Looks great James, particularly the bit where your name sits up on top as a reflection of all your hard work.

Umm, just a quick copy-editor’s query…is Jonathan Raban’s name meant to be spelt that way on the cover?

Oh, and Edgar Allan Poe too. It’s not a final cover is it?

Don’t worry – I’ve just dopily used an old version. I’ll upload the correct one once I’m back in Sydney.

Sorry – was away over the weekend so I couldn’t do it then, but I’ve now uploaded the most recent, typo-free version.
