Perhaps not coincidentally I’ve just jumped ship on emusic because of the increasing prevalence of “this album is not available for download in your country at this time” messages, though the changes to the plan would probably have sent me packing as well if I hadn’t already been planning to leave.

And no, the rest of the debut album probably doesn’t rise to the level of ‘Frankie’s Gun’ (though St Stephen’ ain’t bad, but the quality of the album as a whole is pretty fantastic, and very consistent nonetheless. The new one is good too, and more complex, though I’m not sure it’s as immediately appealing as the debut.
